For owner-operated businesses

Numbers you can act on.

Four Ten Advisory helps owners see clearly where the business stands, decide what comes next, and put it into practice.

The decisions that change a company are made by one person in a quiet room.

Whether to raise prices. Whether to launch the new line. Whether the offer on the table is a good one. In an owner-operated business, those calls land on the person who is also running payroll, managing the team and answering the customer. There is rarely a CFO in the seat — and rarely a number anyone would stake the decision on.

Four Ten Advisory exists to put that number in the room.

The work

Three stages. Each one stands on its own.

Start where the need is. Every stage is scoped up front and ends with something you keep.
01 Analyze
Establish what's actually true.
Most owners can't say with confidence which products, channels or customers make money. Analyze builds a corrected baseline: profitability by line, the KPIs that matter, how you compare, and a first read on what the business is worth.
You get  A findings document and a working financial model — built to be used again, not filed away.
Explore Analyze
02 Plan
Decide what to do, and what each option is worth.
Ten good ideas and no way to rank them usually means the loudest or the cheapest one wins. Plan puts a number on every option — value, cost, time, and what has to be true for it to work — then puts them in order. Growth, pricing, launches, channel strategy, acquisitions, exit readiness.
You get  A prioritized plan with every move quantified.

03 Implement
Build it, and stay while it runs.
Plans die when nobody owns them. Implement puts the operating side in place — dashboards, reporting, financial systems and processes — sets a review rhythm, and supports transactions through diligence and buyer questions.
You get  The built thing — a live dashboard, a reporting pack, a diligence pack — and a standing review cadence.

How it works

Work that gets used, not filed.

01
Clear scope from the start.
What's included and what it costs are agreed before any work begins. No surprises along the way.
02
Something concrete at the end.
Every stage delivers a named output you keep: the model, the plan, the dashboard.
03
Senior attention throughout.
The person who scopes the work is in the work, from the first conversation to the final review.
“If a metric has never once changed a decision you made, it’s decoration.”
