Start where the need is.

Four Ten Advisory works in three stages — Analyze, Plan and Implement. Each one stands on its own, so you can begin with the question in front of you and go further only if it makes sense.

Scoped up front
What's included, agreed before work begins.
Senior-led throughout
The person who scopes the work does the work.
Something you keep
Every stage ends with a named deliverable.
Any stage, any order
No long-term commitment required to get started.
01 Analyze

Establish what's actually true.

Most owners know their revenue. Far fewer know which products, channels and customers actually make money — or which ones quietly cost it. Analyze replaces assumptions with a corrected, defensible picture of the business, built from your own numbers.

When owners start here
Revenue is growing but profit isn't keeping up
The monthly financials don't answer the questions you actually have
A big decision is coming and you want a clean baseline first
What's covered
Financial analysis and a cleaned-up view of performance
Profitability and contribution margin by product, channel and customer
The KPIs that matter for your business, clearly defined
Benchmarking against comparable businesses
A baseline read on business value
You get
The findings — a clear written summary of what's working, what isn't, and why
The model — a working financial model of the business, built to be reused long after the engagement ends

02 Plan

Decide what to do, and what each option is worth.

Most owners don't have a shortage of ideas. They have ten of them and no reliable way to rank them — so the loudest or the cheapest one wins. Plan puts a number on every option: what it's worth, what it costs, how long it takes and what has to be true for it to work. Then it puts them in order.

When owners start here
Several growth options on the table and no clear way to choose
Considering a new product, location, channel or price change
Weighing an acquisition, a major investment, or the long-term future of the business
What's covered
Feasibility studies for new products, locations and investments
Growth strategy and scenario modelling
Pricing strategy
Product launch planning
Ecommerce and channel economics — margin by channel, customer acquisition cost against real profit
Acquisition targeting and evaluation
Exit readiness
You get
The plan — a prioritized set of moves, each one quantified and ranked, with the assumptions behind it written down

03 Implement

Build it, and stay while it runs.

Plans stall when nobody owns them. Implement puts the operating side in place — the reporting, dashboards, processes and review rhythm that turn a plan into how the business actually runs. Four Ten Advisory stays involved while it takes hold, rather than handing over a document and leaving.

When owners start here
Reporting takes too long and still doesn't show what matters
A plan exists but hasn't moved
Preparing for a sale, investment or acquisition and facing diligence
What's covered
Custom dashboards and KPI reporting
Financial systems, processes and controls
A monthly review rhythm to track results against the plan
Launch execution support
Transaction support — diligence preparation and responding to buyer or investor questions
You get
The dashboard — live reporting built around the decisions you make
The reporting pack — a consistent monthly view of performance
The diligence pack — organized, buyer-ready documentation when a transaction is in play
The review cadence — a standing check-in to keep the plan on track

One stage, or all three.

Many engagements start with Analyze and stop there — the model and findings are valuable on their own. Others move through Plan and into Implement as the picture gets clearer. Each stage is scoped separately, so there’s a natural decision point before committing to the next — and once things are running, ongoing support is available for owners who want Four Ten Advisory to stay involved.

Where the line is

Four Ten Advisory focuses on finance, strategy and operations. Bookkeeping, tax preparation, legal work, and creative or media buying fall outside that — when a project needs them, you’ll get a referral to someone who does that work well.

Not sure which stage fits?

That’s what the first call is for. In 30 minutes you’ll talk through where the business stands and what you’re trying to decide, and leave knowing where to start.
